In 2007, fans were wondering why a Youtube video was showing Richard Z. Kruspe in studio with the American rapper Rakim.
Richard was actually participating in the 2-GIANTS musical project, designed to bring together artists from completely opposite musical inspirations. The Russian-American project is conducted in New York by Aleks de Carvalho, a producer and composer.
The song on which Rakim and Richard worked, was chosen as soundtrack for the film U.F.O., which should be released in 2012. It will also be featured on the album 2-GIANTS, expected for 2011.
